Condo Information
Air Conditioning  There are two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and the other in the living area.  We request that they not be left on while the unit is unoccupied.  Even in the warmest months the place will chill down in just a few minutes.  The trade winds will do the job if you leave the sliding door and the front screen door open.  Please help us conserve resources.
Electricity Same as what you use in the USA AC 110-115volt 60 cycle.  The use of a surge protector is strongly recommended for any personal electronics.
Water is one of the islands most precious resources please conserve it.  Most water  is produced from sea water purified using a reverse osmosis system.  It is safe to drink.
Property Management SVCOA is the on-sight property manager.  They maintain the property and systems and do a great  job,  however the office does not deal with renter guests.  They are there to keep the laundry running, the hibiscus trimmed, the pool clean, the water flowing among other items.
Security There is a guard posted at the main entrance during the evening hours only.  The best deterrent to petty theft is to keep valuables out of site and secured behind a locked door.  Do not leave valuables in your car.  The unit is equipped with an electric coded lock, you will receive your unique code and instructions in advance of your arrival.
Rental Management - This unit is managed us, the owners, from the States, there is no local agent.  We have local resources to call on should the need arise.
Laundry -  located directly across from the unit walkway.  Hours are posted on the door but you must purchase washer/dryer tokens when the office is open.  Hours are posted on the door.  Condominium regulations prohibits guest from using the railings to hang laundry, towels, suites etc.  We request you comply.
Maid Service - Customarily only provided at the end of the stay.  Arrangements for periodic cleaning or linen service may be made in advance.
Refuse Dumpsters are located in the lower parking lot below the restaurant and on the left side of the drive out at the base of St. Kitts building.
No Smoking Please - Please use the patio if you must but we ask that you close the sliding door.  Evidence of smoking in the unit will result in additional cleaning fees being charged against the security deposit.
No Pets - Sapphire Village does not allow pets to stay or even visit, sorry.
Automobiles- If you are considering renting a car for your visit be aware that they drive on the left.  Parking passes are free for short term visitors, and can be picked up at the office during business hours.
